About

Paul Bergstresser was born and raised in Lancaster County and is a 2001 graduate of Garden Spot High School.

He cannot remember a single day that did not involve dogs. Paul has spent his entire life owning and loving them! At the beginning of his career, Paul ran a printing company with his father, and the best part was there were always dogs in the office. If dogs are his first passion, then soccer is easily his second. A Liverpool and Philadelphia Union fan, Paul has 20 years’ coaching experience for toddlers through varsity.

Much of Paul’s adulthood was spent trying to figure out how to turn his passion into his career. While he was trying to figure it all out, he earned his B.S. in Kinesiology with hopes of becoming a physical education teacher, and spent years working in corporate America as a personal trainer, account manager, and doing general office 9-5 stuff. In November 2021, Paul realized he could not spend another day behind a desk. He saw an opportunity to begin working as a dog trainer. He was able to combine several of his favorite things: dogs, the outdoors, and more time with his family. After he trained his first dog, Paul realized that he finally found his calling!

Paul lives with his wife, Alissa, and sons, Harry, Sebastian, and Gunnar. They have three of their own dogs, Fergus, a German Shorthaired Pointer, and Attell, a rescue who is the true definition of a mutt (her DNA test revealed she is a mix of 12 different breeds), and Felix, an accidentally inherited English Mastiff.

a word from paul

“Everything I know I learned from dogs.”

- Nora Roberts

I am the dogs' dog trainer.

My passion is dogs. By recognizing their sacred place within families, I help foster their confidence, allowing them to become the absolute best version of themselves.

I am proud to serve as a temporary kahu to your sacred pet, briefly adding them to my family while they are in my care.

It is an honor to be trusted with your dog and allowed to become a part of your family.
